My father has this theory of 'riding music.' Many songs can be great, but not all songs are great with which to drive. Some songs are too complicated to drive to, too many parts to sing, too many changes in beats and measure and pitch, too much work to be focusing on the road, no? Some songs have the right amount of simplicity and memorability to be great behind the wheel, therefore, my father makes compilations of good 'riding music' just for those long trips up and down the East Coast.
This, to me, might be one of those songs.

[this is good] Congrats on making [music is good].
Personally, my favorite song to drive to is Huey Lewis & The News: "Heart & Soul".

Lol, I had no clue I made it on the page! And I will admit, 'Heart and Soul' is incredibly catchy. The kinda song that gives you a boost after hearing a droll song on the radio or getting behind someone who drives too slow.

You're not alone-- I started mentioning it specifically when stopping by a spotlighted post because VOX users aren't being notified very much for some reason.

Catchy enough that it was remixed by a laptop/electronica artist down in PDX by the name of Gejius, whose work I reviewed for WHM here about a year ago. Stop by the blog sometime; there's plenty of music to be shared :-)
